When God wants to feel the earth’s sweet, rich soil; we are His fingers and toes.
When God wants to walk where waves crash on the shore; we are His fingers and toes.
When God wants to nuzzle a newborn baby’s cheek; we are His fingers and toes.

When God wants to experience the passion of life; we are His fingers and toes.
When God wants to taste laughter and tears; we are His fingers and toes.
When God soothes the cries of the children’s pain; we are His fingers and toes.
When God answers the prayers of the weak and the lonely; we are His fingers and toes.

When God answers the powerful pleas for justice; we are His fingers and toes prayers
When God grants the aching cries for forgiveness; we are His fingers and toes.
When God comforts the loved ones at a soul’s painful passing; we are His fingers and toes.
When God feeds the hungry begging for food and love; we are His fingers and toes.

When God wants to found, grow, and sustain a nation; we are His fingers and toes.

Now we know why we have eyes, ears, a nose, a brain, a heart, and fingers and toes, and why we are here on God’s earth.
